We are going play DD TRACK BURN with watches, you can wear one daily, the other in special occasions and the other will be burned. The choices are: The Patek 5170G, the Vacheron Harmony Chronograph and the A.Lange & Söhne Datograph.

Although I wouldn’t wear a dress watch, unless I owned a Lincoln with a Cartier clock in it, then I would wear a matching Cartier watch to go with it.

I didn’t realize that there were different sizes. I just really like the style of them, I’d probably own an older one with the thin black straps and the small silver frame. That is, if they fit my wrist okay, I got some somewhat thick wrists.

I really don't hate it. The blue numbers are very very nice. I just don't really like the look of a square timepiece with a large pronounced crown.

Daily the A Lange & Sohne because it is beautiful and perfect.

Dress the Patek because a Patek should only be worn on special occasions.

And burn the Vacheron Harmony Chronograph. I have never been one for a square faced watch.

Don’t know, actually. I saw one about 8 years ago with a stainless band, and that did it for me. It might have been a Raikkonen edition.

On a semi related note, any place to get decent cheap dress watches? I mean like fossil nice, don’t care about heritage/etc., just want something that looks nice to non-watch aficionados. I really hate sport watches with suits but don’t/can’t spend a bunch on watches, and its hard to find nice looking dress watches for cheap (especially black, I fucking hate textured bands, and yes I know I can change them...)
